Malvern Hills in May original painting
Malvern Hills in May original painting
Exhibited at Number 8, Pershore 19th September - 9th October 2024
In this large painting, I am inviting you to delve into the magnificent green landscape of Malvern Hills in Worcestershire once again. I simply cannot get enough of the beautiful Malverns, having moved to Worcestershire almost 20 years ago. History tells us how Edward Elgar felt inspired by them; I feel at times I can hear his music faintly through the whistling wind…
May is such a wonderful time here at the Malvern Hills where the lush greens cascade down the beautiful landscape. I feel that every time I visit these hills the clouds in the sky are just spectacular; they never fail to amaze me.
This painting, started in May 2023 and finished in early July is profound testimony of how wondrous the world around us is - it is available for all of us to see, but only if we pause for long enough to notice it’s beauty.
