This original painting on stretched canvas depicts a beautiful bouquet of roses, somewhat hurriedly throne together, in a clear vase. These creamy blush pink roses were actually half a rosebush that I had lovingly cared for years that, sadly, was a casualty to a late spring storm in spring of 2021. Keen for them to be immortalised on canvas, I set up the bouquet and started painting.
This painting is testament to the beauty of nature and its organic form - from an artist and keen gardener.
